My view for the next 3946 miles, glad I had a good book 'cause the inflight was crap!

A quick stopover in Chicago to recharge my batteries (and my laptop too).

San Diego is a nice place, I'd not want to live here though, no snow!

My final entry... or is it?

Met my idiot country cousins. They sure can sniff out food scraps.

Guest appearance by Mr Squirrel there...

He was looking at me funny, so I chinned him!

I'll miss Mona, she was so nice to me!

Hit the bevvies a bit on Wednesday night before I flew out, that Mountain Dew is heady stuff!

Waiting for the bus over to the US, what a lovely day!

Took a chance to get some shade before I caught the airport bus. Lovely.

    Adios Detroit!

    My plane home!

The inflight meal was horrible, I didn't feel that hungry thankfully.

    Back on British soil!

Bumped into my mum a few hours later, a joyful reunion was had, we went to the pub!

    Hello all!

On Sunday night I started my global odyssey. Was introduced to this strange thing called a sheet bag. Like a sleeping bag, but a sheet. Yes.

Got up early next morning to get the coach to Gatwick Airport. I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Winchester! And especially lovely Katy.

The coach went via Heathrow airport, shame it wasn't raining!

Check in at Gatwick was super quick, and I had two hours before departure, so I had a bite to eat.

It started raining just as I got on the plane. Damnit!

Thankfully I got a nice comfy seat, all set for the 7 hour flight! :)

Not much in the way of duck-based entertainment on the flight so I had to entertain myself and dream of being able to fly myself....

Eventually ended up at my destination, one more obstacle though, Canadian immigration, I was worried they'd not let me in!

Went for a bite to eat, very tasty, then I sent a postcard to my mum back in England. Bless.

    Mmmm, fish.

Went and watched Matrix Reloaded, I loved it but there were no ducks in it. Some crows though. Bastards.
