I went to the zoo! It was amazing. I made friends with this nice lady! These guys needed feeding I think, they were making scary noises! Current Mood: contentCurrent Music: U2 - The Unforgettable Fire | | Tuesday, May 3rd, 2005 | | 3:42 am |
Set out from Heathrow on Saturday morning, little did I know I'd be awake for almost 24 hours! My view for the next 3946 miles, glad I had a good book 'cause the inflight was crap! A quick stopover in Chicago to recharge my batteries (and my laptop too). San Diego is a nice place, I'd not want to live here though, no snow! The view from my hotel room, hey batter batter batter swiing batter! Current Mood: happyCurrent Music: The Smiths - Shoplifters Of The World Unite | | Friday, April 29th, 2005 | | 8:58 pm |

Hey! I'm back. Or at least I would be. My mean master katykitten has put me into hiding. But my buddy Alfonso is breaking out of this mundane existence, if only for a week! :) Current Mood: cheerfulCurrent Music: Slipknot - My Plague | | Friday, October 10th, 2003 | | 11:13 pm |

My final entry... or is it? Met my idiot country cousins. They sure can sniff out food scraps. Guest appearance by Mr Squirrel there... He was looking at me funny, so I chinned him! I'll miss Mona, she was so nice to me! Hit the bevvies a bit on Wednesday night before I flew out, that Mountain Dew is heady stuff! Waiting for the bus over to the US, what a lovely day! Took a chance to get some shade before I caught the airport bus. Lovely. Adios Detroit! My plane home! The inflight meal was horrible, I didn't feel that hungry thankfully. Back on British soil! Bumped into my mum a few hours later, a joyful reunion was had, we went to the pub! Current Mood: accomplishedCurrent Music: Less Than Jake - Motto | | Saturday, May 24th, 2003 | | 3:19 pm |
'lo readers!
I've been busy! Went to the mall yesterday afternoon, a busride in rush hour. Mmm, slow. I feel like I'm in a Hitchcock film! Needed some loonies first, no credit card y'see! So much choice! So little cash! Had lunch, yum! Thankfully no duck on the menu! I just wanted to go home by this point! Went and had a coffee after we'd got back, couldn't resist this! Made another new friend! :) | | Wednesday, May 21st, 2003 | | 10:33 pm |
Made a new friend! Meet Drozdov! So we went for Vietnamese. No duck on the menu thankfully. Mmm, chilli squidalicious! Went for a lovely walk along the Detroit river, most tranquil. Saw a potential slide moment, couldn't resist! :) What a lovely view, great place to hang out! Arf! Hello all! On Sunday night I started my global odyssey. Was introduced to this strange thing called a sheet bag. Like a sleeping bag, but a sheet. Yes. Got up early next morning to get the coach to Gatwick Airport. I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Winchester! And especially lovely Katy. The coach went via Heathrow airport, shame it wasn't raining! Check in at Gatwick was super quick, and I had two hours before departure, so I had a bite to eat. It started raining just as I got on the plane. Damnit! Thankfully I got a nice comfy seat, all set for the 7 hour flight! :) Not much in the way of duck-based entertainment on the flight so I had to entertain myself and dream of being able to fly myself.... Eventually ended up at my destination, one more obstacle though, Canadian immigration, I was worried they'd not let me in! Went for a bite to eat, very tasty, then I sent a postcard to my mum back in England. Bless. Mmmm, fish. Went and watched Matrix Reloaded, I loved it but there were no ducks in it. Some crows though. Bastards. Current Mood: cheerfulCurrent Music: some nu-metal pap on cable |
